We care that our produce is grown to meet a specific demand in the market, to reduce overall wastage and mitigate fluctuations in commodity pricing due to over or undersupply.
Thanks to our access to orchards across regional New Zealand, our investment in agritech and intensive growing and our expertise in growing a range of quality produce, we’re able to mitigate crop risks like climate variation and weather events.
For our local distributors like supermarkets, independent retailers and food services, that means bridging the gap to consistent quality, a reliable supply of produce 12 months of the year, fair and predictable pricing and a wide range of produce grown to meet their needs.

The problem we face.
In New Zealand, over 100,000 tonnes of perfectly edible, non-perished food is wasted, equating to $3.1 billion nationally per year. This is due, in part, to excess supply and the discarding of imperfect produce.
As more and more produce is being discarded for aesthetic reasons, it’s clear as an industry we need to grow higher grade produce that will result in less waste.
